Effect & use
At an Event Space, after the House Players resolve the event portion, the Dark Arts Player chooses the event benefit or that zone’s available Progress Token. When taking the red token, immediately draw the Dark Arts Location Card.
Where to find it / how to resolve it
Collect each zone’s token through an Event Space in that zone. In red, taking the location card at the first red event requires three pawns at its location; the next red event requires two, and the final path space requires one.
Restrictions & timing
- You must secure a zone’s token before moving into the next colour zone.
- Tokens alone do not win: the required number of Dark Arts Pawns must also occupy the specified location simultaneously.
- Pages 22 and 23 word the pawn count differently. The rulebook does not unambiguously resolve whether reaching the final space reduces an objective taken earlier.

Content quality work in this revision
Added a 24-category component catalogue, nine sourced card examples and a rechecked Alohomora entry; the catalogue remains an identified sample rather than a complete Acquire Deck. Added a complete setup and first-round walkthrough with a player-count checklist, cross-links across all eight guides, reference information boxes, a clarification register, page-specific history and local correction drafts. This records reviewed preview content, without announcing the custom-domain launch.
